Best Pizza ever! my old coworker told me i had to go some time, and well he was right. love the cheese! i have to take 2 lactose pills before i eat it but its totally well worth it. You can ask for half the cheese! provel is totally different from other cheeses but its just amazing. I have told so many people about this place and brought some home to my family. everyone is hooked! loved it! cant go wrong with this place. its a little pricy but you get what you pay for. ITS NOT PROCESSED LIKE FAST FOOD! thats what i love. It does take some time to make the pizza but totally worth the wait. i always call ahead =)
This pizza is the greatest! Some people are thrown off by the cheese, but I love it! It is a wonderful little place to eat. Great price and great pizza. And their salads are great also. Highly recommend trying this place. I live 35miles from there and it is worth the drive!!
LOVE ME SOME LEO'S!!!!
One star is too generous for this place. THIS WAS HORRIBLE! Very friendly service but this pizza tastes like cheese gravy poured over some stale toast. I love almost all pizza even the crappy 1.00 frozen pizzas from the grocery store, but this was AWFUL. I felt my arteries clogging as I ate. We threw away over half of the pizza. As the other reviewers stated, do not eat there!! The cheese overpowers the sauce and the toppings. I ordered Italian sausage and I couldn't taste it because of all the cheese! I wouldn't eat this if I were starving to death.
We know people (usually from St. Louis) who think this is great pizza and compare it to a place called Imo's. We've never lived in St. Louis and can only compare it to the national chains and Pizza Shoppe (a more of less local chain).
To us Leo's was horrible, like eating Velveeta on a Saltine cracker. Skimpy ingredients, poor cheese and actually soggier than a cracker, more like a wet cracker.
I love Leo's Pizza! By far the best thin crust pizza alive! Way better than Imo's. Back in the day they had one in Blue Springs by the Blue Springs 8 Movie Theatre that I ate at all the time. Hell I don't even think that Theatre is there anymore Either.
I have friends and family from Colorado ... Iowa ... Arizona ... Maryland ... Texas ... and more -- and there's one thing they all have in common: when they come to KC, they EXPECT that one night of the trip I'll serve Leo's famous pizza. It's unlike anything else (and ten-times better than its St. Louis counterpart!)
