Peachtree Buffet, Kansas City

I go here with my friends from work every chance I get and that is not too many. Food is great. I love buffet

The Best food and service I have had at any resturant in my 35 years on this earth. I was so stuffed I could hardly move because the food was so good I just could not stop eatting. The Buffett is great and the people that work there are very friendly and wonderful. Each time I come to Kansas City I will make sure and go there.

Roy and Miss Vera are very nice people and I must apologize for my previous review It wasn't fair of me. I was in a poor mood. They didn't deserve that review. They work hard to deliver a Quality product to their customers at all times and I wish them many years of success. Just walk in and smell the food and I bet you stay and eat. God Bless all at The Peachtree.

What a wonderful experience I had while eating here. This was my first time going to this Buffet, and I must say wow the food is really good. It reminds me so much of the southern cooking you always got from your mother or grandmother that was from the south. All of the food was hot and very well seasoned. Not at all the type of Buffet that hires kids or some type of chef. They must have a bunch of women from the south in the back preparing the food. I tried the catfish and man was it good, just like the peach cobbler that I had for desert. I was even able to get the kids to try the green beans and wouldn't you know it they now like green beans. I ate until I was nearly sick, even after waiting a while I still could not eat another bite. I know your not suppose to eat like that, but it was so good, which is why I am placing this post on line. I guess that's why the parking lot was full when we got there. This place has the ability to become a nation wide chain. Happy Eating

In response to the military group, I was the manager on duty the day this group arrived at the Peachtree Buffet. Can I ask all you bloggers this question? Would any of you allow someone to come in your establishment, give you an invoice printed clearly in QuickBooks, with no official letterhead or government seal for approximately $340.00, with the mere promise from a lady you have never met, that they would pay in 30 days. When no one at your restaurant knew anything of this arrangement. I didn’t think so! First of all The Peachtree does not accept purchase orders. When the assistant manager asked the young lady the name of the manager she had spoken with over the phone, the manager she claims had given her this information, she couldn’t recall a name. Let me say this I don’t think the young lady was a con person, but I do believe she was very unorganized and confused. Just as we didn’t know who she was when she arrived with her group, when we called the federal government for our money in 30 days they wouldn’t have know who we where!

We thought this was going to be a great place to take our church after reading all the reviews. We called to communicate with the manager discussing our desire to eat at their facility. They were very welcoming on the phone as we informed them we were military. A discussion of payment was introduced and confirmed that we would use a purchase order. They explained they usually only use this form of payment with the Kansas City School District but would except ours, after explaining that the military procedures worked the same. Unfortunately after we arrived with all of our personnel they literally told us they would not except it. We drove over two hours from our military installation to only be turned down and disappointed by a place a business that gave us no type of hospitality but to tell us that our paperwork didn't even look like it came from the military. I took that as an insult, especially after all the telephone conversations I had with them. It was so unbelievable, I could not ever imagine that happening to us, especially after reading all the reviews. Never in my lifetime would I expect a business to turn down military organizations, even more so now did I least expect it. We have soldiers fighting right now in a current war but we are back in the United States being told that our paperwork didn't look official. Can you believe the owner would not even come out and talk to any of the leaders. We were left standing there with I'm sorry! I will not stop thinking about this terrible experience, nor will I stop informing everyone of the experience we had with the Peachtree Buffet. I plan on writing everyone about this!

I dined at the Peachtree Buffet yesterday the food was delicious!!!! The macaroni & Cheese, Candied Yams, Black-Eyed Peas, Collard Greens, Real Cornbread Dressing, Turkey, Brisket and Fried Chicken were awesome. That's right i sampled all of the above even Homestyle Potato Salad while sipping on Old Fashioned Lemonade I thought for a moment I was back home. I completed my meal with Bananna Pudding and Peach Cobbler. The Cost was a mere weekend rate of $14.97 including taxes. I often dine during the week the cost is less than $12.00 I don't get the expensive this is an all you can eat dine in buffet. The Peachtree Buffet is the best deal in Kansas City, Count me out for Ryan's just another chain restaurant.

On a recent visit to Kansas City, we decided to check out the Peachtree Buffet. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. When I tasted the food, the only thing I could do was shake my head in disbelief. I could not believe that someone could master, mac and cheese, greens, fried catfish and peach cobbler. If you are away from home and want some excellent comfort foods you must stop by the Peachtree.
