My favorite restaurant sold this year. The new owners are great they are very friendly and seem to know what they are doing in a restaurant. The food is the same and the staff stayed. Love there tacos and menudo.
Los Corrals is the best mexican restaurant in the KC area. My sister was visiting from Houston. She had their tacos and she said it was the best taco she had ever eaten, better than any she had in Houston. My family's favorite is the chicken burrito spread. Their rice is exceptional. The price is fabulous. We can take a family of 6 and eat with drinks under $35. WE LOVE LOS CORRALES!!!
Los Corrals is by far the best place in KC to eat mexican food!!!! It surpasses them all!!!! My family has been going here for over 30 years, and would NEVER consider anywhere else!!! The food is remarkable, the service, fast and friendly, and the price...well, you just can't beat it!!! We live 30 milles away, and I'd drop everything to go here anytime!!!! Whoever writes a bad review on here about Los Corrals has no taste!!! Those people deserve nothing better than Taco Bell!!!!
I've eaten at this restaurant since I was a child and it's still great. I love the deep fried tacos and the chips that are still sizzling when they hit your table. It's great food for the price and a family owned business that still makes me feel just as good visiting them as when I was seven years old.
After reading such great reviews, decided to give it a try. What a waste of time and money. My bean tostada was cold and the cheese enchilada was filled with thick, luke warm American cheese (I could barely cut into the tortilla). Salsa was watery and bland. Guess none of the other reviewers have been to an autentic Mexican restaurant ie: not a lot of greasy cheese. Even my rice was full of cheese! I could've had better from a frozen dinner or even, dare I say it... On the Border. Now that's pretty bad. Took one bite of each item and pushed the plate aside. Had to go buy myself lunch elsewhere!
Won't go back!! I've had better mexican meals from the frozen section at the grocery store. Cheesy and greasy, my wife couldn't eat it. Nice place if you want to overpay for recipes that a 12 years come up with. The quesdilla was a hard shell tortilla covered with rotel dip. The salsa was very liquidy. Stick to the Boulevard, you'll find something much better!!! These other reveiwers must not of tried a true authentic mexican restaurant before!!
