Players Restaurant Lounge, Warrensburg

We will never go back to Players. We ordered two Ribeye, cooked medium. That's an expensive piece of meat, so one would kind of ask that it be cooked correctly, right? It was delivered rare. The waiter walked by several times but never inquired how the steaks were. That's probably because he already knew they were just slabs of fat with some meat attached and didn't want to hear it. We could have stopped him and mentioned it, but didn't want to make a fuss with a crowd around us. So, since the service and steaks are in need of MUCH improvement, I would strongly recommend some chef training in how to cook a simple steak, and suggest the wait staff show interest in their customers' satisfaction. In the meantime, it will be a very long time before we try Players again. Going to Applebee's where we won't pay a fortune and will take our chances.

I've tried the Slovaki four times. (I never lose hope.) However, Each time it was terribly dry. Now, I've lost hope.

Excellent! they have a great menu and great food. was pleasantly surprised to find Greek food, and good Greek food that...definitely a place i will revisit when i am in the area

Food was average, the Pork filets appeared to be precut at the factory, then shipped to the restaurant and the prices were high. Surprised this restaurant doesn't have a website. With the prices they charge for the average quality food, you'd think they could afford one.

You have to try the Fried Potato Salad. It is amazing! I'd almost drive from Canada to get it again! Great food and a nice place. I'd definately go back.

I've eaten at Players many times, it's always been adequate. Last night I had the Rib Eye steak supposed to be cooked medium rare. It came out rare which I didn't complain about because I like a good rare steak. After a few bites, I discovered why it was served rare. The bottom of the steak, which was hidden by the chef, was charred black. If they'd cooked it any longer it would'be been a hockey puck. I wish I'd had the time to complain but i was with a friend and didn't want to make a fuss. $22.00 for a piece of crap. The service was good, the appetizer and soup were great. I can't understand how they could in all good conscience serve such a piece of meat to a paying customer. Sorry Players, Heros is getting my business from now on.

Player's is a cool place with good food. The establishment is very clean and the staff are friendly. It has a large variety of food selection. Good buy for the money.

If you want to go to a nice place to eat this is the place you want to go to...very good food with lots of choces to choose from the menu..I try to go there when ever I can love the food and the peolpe..

For great grilled foods and Greek entrees, Players is the place! If you order a Greek entree, ask for extra tzatziki to give your taste buds an extra treat. It's great to go there with friends or family, but if you go alone, you're treated as if you are the guest of honor--excellent service! During my first visit there, I got a table with a great view of the outdoor dining area and the hills behind the restaurant--a nice, reflective spot to enjoy my meal. This is the best place to enjoy Greek entrees in west central Missouri without driving to Kansas City or Columbia, and the appetizers and desserts are great, too. Great "first-visit" choices include onion rings, grilled burgers and steaks, gyros, and New York-style cheesecake with your choice of topping. Come prepared with either a big appetite or to take home a "to-go" container with leftovers!

Very nice place, all employees are friendly and good at their job. Food is very good and prices competitive.
