I have been going to this place for 40 years and it has not changed...ever. The Whiz Burgers are the best and most unique burger you've ever had. I normally get a Chili Whiz Burger, a Whiz Burger, and fries and by the time I get home the bag is nearly see-through from the grease...that's a good thing, IMHO. Of course, you can't eat this all the time, it's not a health food store. I got a bad Chili Whiz last time, in that it was very dry, no grease. I'll chalk it up to a bad day. One in 40 years is not bad!
Mugs Up was my first job. I think it was the most fun I ever had at work. I still stop in to see Bill whenever I am in town. Make sure to tip your carhop....they make very little an hour. When I was there, we made $1 an hour so all of our maoney came from tips!
My favorite: A Whiz Burger with super sauce and tomato. Yum!
Mugs Up is amazing! It has the best cooked food around. Between it's bbq beef sandwich and a whiz burger, it is the best drive-in/fast food resturant in town! The fries are the freshest, and the Rootbeer is the BEST! I would always recomend Mugs Up if you are looking for good food and quality...and if you are hungry of course!
