Hickory Log Restaurant, Dexter

I would love to know exactly where these people have eaten that they liked better than Hickory Log. I have eaten BBQ all over the world and none compare to Hickory Log. The meat is always tender and full of awesome flavor. I plan my vacation travel so that I can stop and pick up ribs. My friends and others that I have (unwillingly..LOL) shared with have said the same. My main comment: DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO EAT AT HICKORY LOG!!

I was in town march 2010 and i thought i would stop by the hickory log for some ribs.There supposed to be known for ribs and they were the worst ribs i've eaten anywhere and i travel for work for a living,so i've had my fair share of bbq restaurants and this one was'nt good.There ribs were like chewing on rawhide,service was horrible.They literally had my food out to me less than 5 min.Not a good sign!Go some where else for bbq.

I HAVE HAD HICKORY LOGS RIBS AND I CAN HONESTLY TELL YOU I'VE DEFINITELY HAD BETTER,THEY ARE NOTHING SPECIAL.I'VE ALSO HAD A CHEESEBURGER THERE AND IT WAS DRY SO I DONT WASTE MY TIME EATING THERE ANYMORE.I GOT A SIDE OF RIBS AT A CONVIENCE STORE IN DEXTER THAT TASTE BETTER THAN HICKORY LOGS RIBS!!!

By far the best ribs I have found, no matter where I looked.

My husband & I visit the restaurant for the first time around January 2007. Service was great and fast! Ribs...out of this world...Delicious! So, delicious that we end up ordering some to be shipped to Tennessee, where we live. These ribs are so delicious that my husband & I drove for the 2nd time from Tennessee to Dexter, Missouri (5 hours driving one way) just to eat Hickory Log Ribs & of course we bought 6 racks of Ribs to go. If you would like to order you can do so with no worries. They pack them very good in a cooler so they can remain fresh. We would not drive that far if it was not worth it.

By far the best ribs I've tasted. I just ate there Thursday (for free thanks to KDEX). Tip them good, because its always good service.

I will say this they have tbe best ribs that money can buy. This is the place i got to have ribs or carry out.
