Ventana Cafe, Excelsior Springs

The Ventana Gourmet Grill has become our new favorite restaurant. The menu creates a delima as you have a hard time choosing from everything with ingredients that are so up to date, appealing and healthy. The prices are phenominal, the service was exceptional and the ambiance is a delightful walk into the past. It is worth the drive to Excelsior Springs. We will be back many times.

Ventana's was such a wonderful find when we stayed the weekend at the Inn that we had dinner there both nights. Absolutely loved the intimate atmosphere, attentive service, fabulous food and great drinks. We certainly would have spent more for less in KC. We recommend it to anyone and everyone we meet. Only wish we lived closer!!

Ventana is wonderful to have in a town of few non-fast food restaurants. The food is great and inventive. The chicken dip appitizer is to die for!We use the take-out service all the time, but love the service and atmosphere when eating there. I would highly recommend Ventana to anyone who lives in town or to take visitors.

I think the food is awful, but that is just me. You don't get enough to fill you up eighther. and the pricig is out ragious.

The food and service was excellent and the piano music really complimented our fine dining experience. We recommend Ventana Cafe to anyone and everyone without hesitation.

I had heard Ventana Cafe was a really good place to eat. Unfortunately my first experience was not positive when it came to the food. I ordered the Waldorf Salad Sandwich but was served a Chicken Salad sandwich. There were none of the ingredients that would make it a Waldorf. If this is the standard for food, they will not get my recommendation nor future business.

I am so impressed with the way they have turned the building into a very cozy place to be...The service was excellent and the food...YUM!!!! I am so proud to have such a place in my own town! If you ever get to Excelsior YOU must stop in!!!!

This restaurant is in my home town and one of my favorites. The owners, at one time, lived down the street from us and grew up with my children so I have known them for a lot of years. Not only am I proud of them for doing so well but always recommend their place to everyone looking for a good place to eat. The service is prompt, the tables always ready for another customer, the restaurant very clean and the food is excellent and attractively presented.
