Blueberry Hill Restaurant, St Louis

I love Blueberry Hill. I started coming to Blueberry Hill in 1992 when I first got my driver s license. I grew up about an hour away, and used to stop in al least once a month. I now live further away, but make it in at least once a year when in town. It s walls filled with pop culture history fit right in with the U City area. The food is top notch American dining. No Dress code here, and that s the way we like it. Though I have never personally had the privledge to see a show here the acts are also top notch as you can see on the walls. There is nothing you can negative about Blueberry Hill. It is a must see if you are in the area. You will not regret it.

CHILLS NO THRILLS. Our food was abysmal and the food staff were dirty, drunk and drugged. This used to be my go to place to take friends but never again. It has been going down bluesberry hill for the past 2 or 3 years. My friends were afraid to send their food back or complain because the wait staff looked like they would be the types to spit in your food.

You can mark this restaurant down as one I will never go back to. Not so much of the food (it was passable) or the decor (although the place appears to have been cleaned once in 1984). It is the price of the food that is insane. We went for lunch, 4 adults and 3 kids. We ordered the following, 2 BLT's, 1 French Dip, 1 bowl of Chili, 1 Hot Dog, 1 small hamburger an order of fries, 6 cokes (one water, no alcohol) one of the kids only ordered a side of tater tots and our bill was $84. That is insane. We could have walked down the street and had 16 $5 foot longs from Subway. So if you are looking to pay a ridiculous amount of money for some so-so sandwich's this is the place for you, if not stay very far away.

Best burger joint ever and they offer vegetarian options. The people are great and the environment is more wild, dark, and urban. The food is great! Especially their blueberry a la mode! Have it for dinner or for dessert. I would not recommend to people who are not open minded or enjoy the urban/city life. The culture in here like the loop itself is very diverse!

One of my favorites! I love the casual atmosphere, diverse customers, food is made to order (great reuben sandwich, fried stuffed mushrooms, burgers,etc) Working jukeboxes, music memorabilia, darts, pinball machines, etc.

The food is good. The service is average. Concerts are held in a dirty basement.

Don't get so hung up on looking at all the collectibles that you let your burger get cold! The burger will be big and juicy, the fries what fries are supposed to be, and I'm sure the rest of the menu is good, too. But I always have a big cheeseburger or bacon burger myself when I'm there. But the decor will fascinate you. The owners are rich with collectibles from the 50s, 60s and 70s. If and when they ever close the place (No! Please don't!), the auction will be a history-making event! This is what a certain chain was trying to be. Record albums and posters on the walls, collectibles of all sorts in the cabinets, entertainment live most every evening, and a lot of fond memories for Baby Boomers and beyond.
