My family and I were on vacation and dined at this restaurant on March 17th at around 2:00PM. I take my teams to Cheesecake Factory Restaurants quite often for corporate dinners and lunches at different CFs. The food is always ok.
This was the worst experience I have had at a Cheesecake Factory however. We had numerous problems with our food and I ended up not having lunch after all. We ordered and my daughters and my food arrived at our table within about 20 minutes. My husband's grilled salmon arrived about 10-15 minutes after ours. No explanation was offered as to why there was such a delay. I had waited to start eating until his food arrived, which by that time my food was not warm, which was fine, since I ordered lettuce wraps.
When I started to eat, I realised there were strands of hairs thru out my chicken and the sauce used for the lettuce wraps. There were MANY of them, so I couldn't just pick them off. It was obviously the bristles from the brush used to baste the chicken for cooking. I understand this does happen. I called the waiter over and told him this and he promptly took the plate away. After 15 minutes, I received a new plate of lettuce wraps - and when I went to eat it, the 2nd plate of lettuce wraps had the same issue - bristles in the food. The chicken was coated with it and it was in the sauce as well.
I called the waiter over once again and showed him the bristles that I'd pulled off the chicken and out of the peanut sauce. He said he would go to get a manager. The manager came over after about 10 mins. By this time, my daughter was done with her food. I'd not had any lunch and we had been at lunch for over an hour and a half. The manager told me that the hairs were most likely ginger, which is in the sauce. I had tasted the bristles - which tasted like hair and they definitely were not ginger, but he attempted to try to convince me that they weren't bristles. The waiter had felt them and agreed that they definitely were not supposed to be in my food. They were pointy and stiff - I cook a lot and am very familiar with spices. These were not ginger. I told him to try them and he just offered bring me another plate of lettuce wraps.
By this time I had lost my patience and appetite for any food at the Cheesecake Factory. The manager took my meal off our check and offered to give us a piece of cheesecake for free. I was VERY disappointed in how the manager handled this - trying to convince me that there wasn't something wrong with my food and I was wrong - as well as the amount of time this meal took. Over $50 dollars later for a lunch that I didn't get to eat and we left. I am not certain I will be returning to any Cheesecake Factory in the future because of the bad experience we had at this particular one. I rarely complain at a restaurant but this was a bad food experience and it was one of the worst I've had at a restaurant. The waiter actually did as much as he could and we appreciated his service.
One of my favorites--not cheap but good for a chain. The crab cake sandwich is great--enough for two--as well as the crispy spicy beef. Be prepared to wait otherwise go a little before the lunch or dinner rush. Don't plan on eating dessert if you eat a meal--way to much. But you can get your cheesecake to go, otherwise go just for dessert and coffee.
I read all the other reviews before I went there and most of them were right; it is a long wait, but you are in a mall, so we walked around and shopped. I waited about 45 minutes to be seated and once I was seated it was another 5 before the waitress took our orders. The food came out fairly quick and the food was hot and delicious. I wasn't a huge cheesecake fan before my visit, but the cheesecake here has changed my mind. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend, but be prepared to wait.
I absolutely love the Cheesecake Factory. I would eat there every day if I could afford to. The prices are not extremely high, it's just my budget won't allow an everyday trek. The food is delicious, I have tried many dishes and I love them all.
My favorite appetizer is Buffalo Blast, my favorite dish is the Teryiaki Chicken and the lettuce in the salads are fresh, they have the best salads ever. My compliments to the chef.
This is one of my favorite places to eat. The cheesecakes are delicious but the food is just as good. The environment is relaxing and its connected to the mall!! What more can you ask? It's a great place to have a date.
romantic? if a date took me here he would never hear from me again. Theres only one reason to go here, and its for the cheesecake. Otherwise you wait forever, the food is disgusting, and they give you way too much food which just ends up getting thrown away because it really is that bad. I guess if youre looking for somewhere to get large quantities of bad food this would be the place to go.
This place is the bomb!!!They have the best Orange Chicken and the atmosphere is sooo romantic, I not gonna even mention the cheesecake which I didn't get because I know that it's good and I didn't want to gain when while in the process of losing weight, but I felt like a kid in a candy store though, so when God blesses me with my husband we will be going there on our first date, maybe. Depends on the situation at that time.
I saw some bad reviews on this place, but picky is as picky does. The food at The Cheesecake Factory is incredible! They have a rich variety of nuevo modern cuisine and a varied selection of cheesecakes.
Atmosphere: Soft, warm lighting with warm toned accents decorate an elegant dining area with a subtle hint of egyptian theme. Overall, it is a beautiful restaurant, mixing modern with hints of old-world, if not for the constant crowds! Besides the noise of a busy, well-liked restaurant, the atmosphere is quite nice.
Service: Every time I have visited, I have had to wait. Fortunately, it is in a shopping mall, so there is plenty to keep a person occupied. The wait staff is reasonably friendly. I gave the service a 3 out of 5 because sometimes you can wait a bit.
Food: Delicious food, excellent selection, divine cheesecakes, best food in the area, in my opinion.
Value: It is not cheap, by any means, and with a slice of cheesecake, you can spend over $40 for a good meal. However, the quality of the food is worth the price to me. I wouldn't eat there every day, but it is an excellent choice for a day at the mall, or an evening of good food.
