Since 1975, when founder Ramon Gallardo opened his first location, Casa Gallardo has been serving bold Mexican food and refreshing margaritas. This is where St. Louis had its first taste of traditional burritos, savory cheese enchiladas and crispy chimis. Thirty-five years later, we are proud to be recognized as the "Original Mexican Restaurant in St. Louis."

This is a great restaurant with great servers. The Sunday brunch is outstanding, as well as the regular menu. The birthday attention was unexpected and quite enjoyable.

In the mood for a Margarita?

I go here often on Wednesday's. They have $2 margaritas. Anytime I have been there I have had good service and great food. I have never had a complaint about the service. They are often really busy in the bar area, so the service can often be slower then but what more can you ask for when they are packed to the rim and have cheap drinks and 1/2 price appetizers? The waitresses are always courteous.
