The provel cheese is so good it's beyond description. The tangy sause only compliments the cheese and the crust is nice and crispy. Even if you don't like thin crust and you're in St. Louis put aside your pizza prejudices and try Imos. This pizza is like no other thin crust, it doesn't taste anything like what'd you get for thin crust at Pizza Hut/Dominos/Papa Johns/any other chain or family pizza restaurant. St. Louis style is one of a kind and Imos does it best.
I grew up on Imo's and for most of my growing-up years I didn't even know there was any other kind of pizza besides St. Louis Style. I remember when the crust was all hand made before they switched to the pre-fab crusts and it was definitley better, but the sauce and the cheese really define the St. Louis Style Pizza. I am living overseas now and make my U.S. home north of Chicago, but still make the trip to St. Louis more than a few times/yr and when I do... one of the first stops is IMOS!
If you like thin crust pizz, then Imo's is the palce to go. It is a must stop whenever I come through St louis. Heck i've even taken it home in a cooler before to reheat on a 300 mile trip. It's the best pizza I have ever had. The cheese sticks to your teeth and is so tasty you would almost wish that it would stay there
