Tucker's Place

While traveling to St. Louis, last year, I had the fortune of dining at Tucker's Place one evening. The atmosphere and clientele were excellent, and the steak was fantastic...but the steak sauce, WOW! However, I reside in the Atlanta suburbs, and although we have some great restaurants all over this area, we are certainly missing out, not having a Tucker's Place in this area. We can most assuredly get good steaks here, but for the quality of Tucker's beef the cost is outrageous. I would recommend to anyone, if you have the opportunity to travel to St. Louis, Tucker's Place is a must! Additionally, their name brand steak sauce, well, their are no words to describe, other than to say, I order it by the case, and keep a rolling stock; it's the next best thing to being there. Not only is it great on steaks, but pork chops as well, and last night I basted our hamburgers with it, incredible. My wife was a "die hard" Dale's Steak Sauce fan, that is until I returned last year with our first bottle of Tucker's. Last night she discovered that we were down to only 3 bottles remaining in the cupboard, and insisted that I hurry and reorder another case, which I did this morning. Thanks Tucker's Place, as far as rating, there should be 6 stars, so ******! -

I've enjoyed the food at Tucker's almost my entire life. I've always loved going there. Could be a because it's a family owned business and by that I mean my family. My Grandma Gloria used to take my sister and I there all the time and even as kids we LOVED THE FOOD! I would recommend it to anyone.

You know, the meal was great, until the wait staff actually had the balls to ask us to vacate our table because they were busy. Hello, what about our business???? How rude! I'm not in a hurry to go back there!

My second home in St Louis. I take all out of town guests to tucker for the pork loin chop and great steaks. Happy hour is a must and the bar maids always made my visits memoriable.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! They weren't busy and the service was extremely slow. The waitress would disappear for long periods of time. She acted as if it was a bother to wait on us. The steak was extremely tough and we even had it taken back once..with an attitude from the waitress. We asked for the manager after the meal and he had a bad attitude as well. His response was "did you eat it though?" and also "what do you want me to do.. fire her??" DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!!!

Steak to die for!

This place has really good steak, but the service isn't quick. It's the kind of place to sit back at. So I wouldn't go here for a quick bite. Also, we have a child and this place has no high-chairs or booster seats. So our child and the other customers with children had a hard time keeping or kids in their seats. So if you have kids or don't like kids roaming around while you eat (because other people will still bring their kids), I wouldn't eat here. If you don't mind that, then try the steak. It's one of the best in St. Louis!

Get a great steak with an ice cold beer. Great food.

They have a way with steaks, everything else is pretty good but not spectacular. This is almost a classic steakhouse, minus the testosterone infused he-man decor. For a great steak at a great orice, Tucker's can't be beat.
