Best soul food in Saint Louis. I have submitted a request to Yahoo to change the category. They currently have this listed as Cajun. I guess because of the name. This resturant serves grits and smothered chicken for breakfast. There are some other goodies too. For lunch and dinner you can get fried chicken, baked chicken, candied yams, black eyed peas, corn bread and if your or in a hurry a pork chop sandwich. I don't think thats Cajun, Latin or Mexican which is where this is currently listed. Some items are available daily some are cooked on specific days.
The food was wonderful and there was more than enough variety to satisfy any taste. In the dining area, there is plenty of room for a party of two or a family of six to sit together at a dining set that one might see in anyone's home. The service was very friendly and would remind you of an aunt, uncle or grandma in your own family. Money spent was well worth it. I got to experience soul cooking at it's best....I can't wait to go back!
