Hawthorne Inn, Labadie

We really enjoy the food but the staff seemed preoccupeid with checking their cell phones instead of serving the customers. Asked politely for a refill of ice tea and then had to wait ten minutes. I finally asked a bus boy and he came back a few minutes later. The clam chowder was served at room temperature. Go for the food but don t expect any kind of service.

After many fine meals at the Hawthorn Inn, our last 2 visits were diminished by poor service. Seems the servers were too busy visiting with their friends to pay attention to the guests. Hope the management fixes this problem because we really like the food.

Love the Hawthorne Inn!!! Been going there every year for our wedding annivesary and going for our 3rd year tomorrow night! Love the steaks, pasta and salads. The service is awesome! We have taken some friends as well and they said it was the best steak they ever had. Can't beat it for the price and the quality of food you get! Can't wait for tomorrow night.

I have enjoyed The Hawthorne Inn several times, and each time it was exquisite! Absolutely the best steaks you'll find anywhere...and I've lived all over America!! Going back to dine there this weekend and am taking along someone who's never experienced this restaurant. I'm sure he'll love it as much as I do!! Thank you for the fine food, quality service and comfortable ambience you provide those who visit your establishment!!
