We ended up waiting twenty minutes for a menu for my wife and I on a thursday night after our sons graduation. When I said something to the bartender named Angie about it. She threw two menus on the bar and proceeded to argue with me how it wasn t her job . We got an appetizer and left. Our server Ashley was nice and sympathetic but it was obvious she didn t have control of it. It is a horrible place of business and I don t recommend it to anyone.
When I was younger, I used to love going to Case N Bucks. But I recently went for my birthday to get the chicken strips I have always loved but when I got them I just wasn t satisfied like I used to be. It was something about them that didn t taste right. And the fries weren t the same either, they re too salty and they aren t seasoned the way they use to be that made them taste so good! I wouldn t brag about working here and I definetly wouldn t suggest this place to anyone anymore.
I used to go to Case & Bucks when I lived over there 5 yrs ago. Food was great, prices were good, service was good. The last time i was there service horrible, crabby ass bartender/server jeez. Gave them another chance had my son pick up chicken wings, (used to be famous for them) dry, cracky, small, dark spots. NEVER AGAIN. I don't know what happen but that restaurant is not worth bragging about It's a shame used to be must be different owners or something
they have great food at reasonable prices, and the best hotwings around. The menu has a wide selection, something for everyone. I have to admit they were better when Stuart and Maria owned it, but overall still a great place to eat.
I sure don't know who these people are who gave Case & Bucks such poor reviews, the wife and I eat there every few months, usually around 1PM and NEVER fail to get excellent service and food. We went there on Mother's Day and will be there again this weekend for Father's Day. My wife got the KC strip steak and salad and it was done EXACTLY how she wanted it, so good and tender and a great price too. I had the chicken fried steak and country gravy and I do admit it isn't the all time best I've had ( a little cafe off the beaten path in Kansas holds that distinction) it was better than any I've had since, beat the hubcap they served me at Bob Evans last time I was there! Waitress came back every five minutes to check on us, kept our glasses full, what more can you want?????
This used to be a very good place to eat .Now that it was taken over it has gone down hill.Went in tonight with only 4 people it sucked, service and food.No one of adult age is running the place.I use to be able to bring in20 people or more no problem. Now they can't take care of 4 people .What a shme.
Great food at a great price!!!!! This place has a friendly atmosphere, with excellent service and ambiance. They have $5 lunch specials everyday until 4pm. I mean come on, you can't even eat at McDonald's for that, and the portions are excellent I can never even finish my meal. it most DEFINITELY has a designated smoking section, with a dividing wall. I was overall very impressed, and will definitely be back!!!!!!
This was the worst experience I have had in a restaurant in a LONG time. The surroundings were horrible, not clean. And these chicken wings-if I only had a picture. Tiny, dried up, over-cooked, nasty. I know these are tough economic times, but really, the ranch could not have been any runnier than that. The so-called pulled pork had to have been from last week and microwaved. The bun was rubber. I would not feed these leftovers to my dog--I think more of him than that. You could not pay me to go there ever again. YUCK!!!!
This place should change it's name to Case & SUCKS. It was the worst restaurant that we have ever been to. The atmosphere was horrible. It felt like I was in a dirty cafeteria and I was waiting for a bug to crawl up my leg any minute. The service was horrible and the food was even worse. From the dry salad to the Kraft macaroni and cheese, to the too crisp no flavor chicken wings and the pulled pork from a can, we didn't even eat half of our food and we definately didn't bring any home. After a $45.00 bill, we left and were still hungry. The worse place I have ever been to and we will never go back. Holties is right downt he street - much better and much cheaper!!!!!!!!
