Ginny's Place, Carmi

If you like greasy food Ginny's is the place to go. Not to mention the wilted lettuce on the salad bar. They also used to pre made frozen burger patties which I DETEST

Being a newcomer to Carmi, I was delighted to find this gem of a restaurant. I have eaten breakfast there several days since moving here...The food was excellent, and so was the service. Definitely a down home atmosphere, where everybody knows everyone, and your birthday is even celebrated by the locals. The coffee is great. I will definitely continue to eat here and hope to one day be known as a regular.

I had a burger there and it was horrible. It didn't even taste like beef. I think it was soy. My friend had the grilled tenderloin. It should have been called toughloin. The lettuce on the salad bar was wilted beyond recognition. We won't be back
