OK, I'm a bit partial, being part of the family and all, but still there's no denying that home cooked meals and family owned cafes like this are rare these days, and the Hoop-n-Wink continues to be the traditional mom-n-pop diner that has always been a part of every small community in America. Good meals at a fair price, plus a great place for freinds to meet. The Hoop-n-Wink has been around for nearly 3 decades now, and probably another 3 decades before that as the Ursa Cafe & Anderson's. It has been a local gathering spot and a great stop for anyone travelling hwy 96 for generations, and well worth the drive from Quincy if you're in the mood for a home-style breakfast or lunch. Susan & Sherri do it all, and if you stop in, be sure to ask for them and tell 'em Jimmy sent ya!
