My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Falls December 11, 2004 and it was more than we could ever have dreamed! Everything was perfect and the staff make sure EVERYTHING is what you love! We loved it!
My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Falls this last May 2013. Our entire experience with them was great. They are all truly nice people that we felt very comfortable with. Our wedding went smoothly and family and friends were talking about it for weeks. Our DJ from Top Cats also received several compliments - great song selection and an elegant voice. It is great to have a nice updated place so close to home!
We booked the premier packagae and we're supposed to receive all upgraded services. However the Falls had to be constantly reminded of their contractual obligations to us. We were supposed to have all premium liquors but were served well drinks and cheap champayne. We paid for food for over 200 guests and only 160 guests arrived, and we were told we ran out of food. Which I found several servers wrapping up steak to go for themselves, even though we were told the food was all gone. The decorations were not what we ordered. Only after I reminded them of what we were supposed to have did they tell me that they couldn't accomadate that decoration because they didn't have enough for all the tables we had. They wait until the day of the wedding to tell us this when they knew all along that they couldn't provide that table decor. That is very unprofessional. They could not accomadate two weddings at the same time. We were the second wedding of the day and we found ourselves tripping over the guests of the first wedding party. The d.j was instructed to play 50's and 60's music all night, but instead played some music that made guests leave the dance floor and subbsiquently leave the reception. The dance floor could not accomadate more than 30 people dancing at the same time. Which became a problem for our more than 160 people in attendance. We have made multiple attempts to reach the reception center to handle our problems, but they were pre-paid and have not returned any of our phone calls.
