Ravanelli's Restaurant, Granite City

I love Ravanelli s! They actually catered my wedding! The food was nice and hot! You can tell that it s all home made. It s delicious! We always go to Ravanelli s for our family get-to-gethers. They opened like 30 years ago and we ve been going ever since!

Love the fried chicken. I eat at their lunch buffet every chance I get.

I ve been going to Ravanelli s forever, but I took my boyfriend for the first time last weekend. He is still talking about how much he loved the chicken and garlic butter.

Do not go by their online prices!!! They have rised the price of the chicken specials and it does not reflect on their online menu!!!

Ordered food for take out on 7/6/11. 16 pieces of chicken were good and parmesan alfredo was fine, however, meatballs in spaghetti were burnt and the 1/2 portion of Ravenellis king pasta pie was not only small, but burn't and and quite undesirable. I hope it was just a bad day.

I been going to Ravenelli's since the 70's , when the orginal family run the place . I know knew 2 people who used to work there , while in high school and now I have 2 more family members working there now . Don't worry I will never tell there names . Anyways , I had there food the other day and it was very very good , it's been over 6 months since I had it last . I been to both restaurants , the prices did go up , because of food cost . I know I seen a few things , but I overlooked it , I could of said something , but I didnt . I did carryout too , didn't have an issue . If you've an issue talk to the manager or owners. This is a good place to eat . Grade A

I love this resteraunt. I eat their carryout all of the time. I have NEVER had my order wrong. But you do need to be clear about what you want. Make sure you request extra condiments, and if you need a substitution, make sure they know that in advance. That being said, they have saved me from cooking on many a night. The food is good. The cakes are excellent( might i suggest you try their carrot cake). Im also in love with the tortellini soup. They are well worth every penny.

Well, my rating may be a bit biased considering my family owns these 2 restaraunts, outlaw blues and farmers restaurant as well. The reason why we have to charge for a salad, 'ON SOME ITEMS' is because of the price of running a restaraunt has DRASTICALLY gone up. So the next time you go to a restaraunt 'or one of my families', look at the price you are paying, taste your food you order, see how much you get 'because it is ALOT' and really weigh it all out and see if you really think it is worth it. I have been to this restaurant several times, and dining in can be somewhat slow with certain servers. The fried chicken is good, but the salads to me lack a lot. If you are in a hurry, don't go here. I have also tried their TAKE-OUT, that is really bad. They don't check your orders to make sure everything is there and when you get home that can be a pain, no one should have to do their jobs for them. I have called (2) Managers now and both have said they would send me a gift certificate out, 9-2-09, I am still waiting. Their service seems to be the issue in my opinion or maybe I should say.. the lack of service... I have read other dissatisfied reviews... I am kinda with them...good food can only go so far.. that is if you get what you pay for... Hopeful for the gift certificate...

italian restaurant with the best fried chicken: great menu great american and italian food but i liked the fried chicken the best also the have 1ft high pies and cakes you know that the have been doing something right they are celebrating 45 YEARS!!!!!! look the menu up. awsome food.
