bad but cheap food. gondola's, pizza bread and salad are the only thing worth eating.

I've been at isu for 4 years and visited/ordered delivery from this place a few times. People really seem to love this place but I don't get it. While it is a good price its always kind of disappointing.. maybe I haven't gotten the right things. Salads - not too fresh... The gondola.. nothing special, you could make it yourself.

This place has really good food. And the fact that they post their nutrional information online speaks highly of them. Way to go.

I think this is a wonderful place. I have been going there since I was in elementary school. Despite what the profile says they do not take reservations until you get there. No matter what the group size. However it is very good food, I have been there hundreds of times and no one in my experience has ever found a hair, a bug or anything else in my food. Also they are currently building a new location on Illinois route 9 just past the airport.

found a horsefly on my gondola i swear to god. Proof positive the public are gullible morons. You think that is good italian food. forget about it. the place is always dirty.

Avanti's is cheap and good.. Just west of ISU campus, found from their menu in the verizon yellow pages and familiar location next to ISU. Avanti's Gondola's and pasta dishes are unique, fast and delicious. They deliver and cater and have good thin crust pizzas too but everyone who goes here must try their famous but simple Gondola sandwiches; salami, ham, cheese on famous fresh bread, request with a side of ranch

239849 You can't get any better in town! The best sandwich with the best bread!!!!!!!! Tuesday night is all you can eat spaghetti night! my favorite time is to go to all you can eat spaghetti then a movie with bring your own bucket!

I absolutely LOVE this place! I go there every time I'm in need of a gondola. :-)
