Nice location, friendly staff, and great food! We've been going here for a while now. I like that I can get a tried and true meal or something I've never had before. You should come back often though.... the menu seems to change (in a good way). During the riverfront market mornings, we always stop in for a really good breakfast.

Mmmmmm..... Delicious! My favorite place to eat (especially on a summer night) in Peoria. The best salsa EVER and terrific, health conscious food all around ~ unless you WANT a decadent dessert, and then ~ well, you can have that too! Great music, great atmosphere, and AMAZING service.

Forget the over abundance of chain restaurants in Peoria and try this hidden gem. Love the grilled tuna, meatloaf and salmon BLT. The desserts are made from scratch and very yummy! The decor is very artsy, with mismatched tables and chairs, funky pictures and unique lighting. Evenings are a great time to go to listen to live music. Only complaint is when they are really busy, prepare to relax and wait a bit for your food.

Outstanding spot. Tucked away in the Contemporary Arts Center building down on the waterfront, This is a Jewel. Shelly runs a great joint with a great kitschy atmosphere, surprisingly delicious menu items, including the staples like gourmet pizzas, Salmon BLT, and tasty steaks and seafood specialties. Often there is free music. good vibes! You owe it to yourself to go check it out. Young, old, rich, poor, black, white, in their seats or on the floor. Come one, come all, as you are. Rhythm Kitchen is our favorite place in town, hands down.

the island flair is everywhere. from the front door to the open kitchen,this is a must try for central illinois. shake the sand of and come on in, the live music and great folks at this cafe can't be beat for miles around.

I love this place. It has a nice comfortable feel, and when you go on the right nights you hear some great music. The food is wonderful, and it reminded me of when i lived in New Orleans.
