This restaurant truly amazed me! I was invited to come and honestly buffet usually my last choice. After my visit at Grand Village Buffet, I would say it will be on top of my list now when it comes to dining out. The offering on the buffet was awsome and I opted most of the American dishes! I started out with the salad bar- the sliced lettuce was the plus, really fresh. There're several salad toppings you can choose from and I couldn't recall any other restaurant that offer many varieties in their salad line than GV. In the mean time I ordered the T-Bone steak at no extra charge. I thought I had to order the drink and I was told that there were no waitresses involved so I just got myself a cup of coffee and it was very fresh and hot. My steak came just in time right after my salad and it really impressed me. I ordered the medium and it was just right. The steak was so tender and I ate every bit of it. After the steak I just take some time to venture around to see what else on the buffet lines. I saw Prime Rib, Carved Ham and Turkey, then the boat-like buffet talbe of cold seafood and sushi and another one just like that with hot seafood items such as baked oyster and mussels, fried Catfish and Frog Legs, Stir Fried Shrimps, Grilled Salmon, and the one I really liked was the Butterfly Shrimp. Then I noticed the Stir-Fried Table. Eventhough I didn't try it but I think it's very interesting because it gives people their choice of picking their own veggies and meat so that the cooks prepare and bring out to your table. Very good concept. The thing I noticed most was that the business was so brisk. There were constant of peple in the line the whole time I was there and the management did a good job of moving the people. All the bus persons are friendly and efficiently picking up the customers' plates. It's really entertaining watching them working together as the team. Lastly I opted for some strawberries at the chocolate fountain talbe and along with that was a piece of coconut pie. And that was the conclusion of my experience at the GV buffet. Honestly I think I really got the bang for my buck! The food was good, the staffs are friendly, and the establishment was clean and efficiently. By the way I did read the review of somone just wrote recently and I do think that person was very jealous at GV's business and wrote a lot of garbage in order to mislead the public. Needless to say more the public do know which one is better when you look at that establishment's parking lot!
