This is best restraurant in the United States of America. Food always hot and delivious. People are so friendly and helpful. They can read your mind for what you need. The # 1 Asian Restaurant in the entire country I ever seem. Price is so so so cheap compare with others. Worth to visit.

Food is suck. The main thing for customers to visit a restaurant is the food, if food not pleased someone, no interest will bring. I eat wide variety food, regardless what ethnic food, but this one isn't as perfect as I thought. The location is prime, the building is charming, but service is lack warm and food down hill. If you are fatty, you may try this one without perceptive judgment.

The staff was cordial, and accomodated our large red-hat group, with a room for privacy!! Endless refills of drinks was included in the price, which I liked. There was even milk and juices for the little ones! I can't rate the sushi because I don't eat it. However, I enjoyed the fried shrimp, but was disapointed there were not more actual chinese vegetable dishes. It seemed to take a long time to re-fill many of the dishes, but when you consider the price you pay for meat at the grocery store, I feel it was a good bargain. There is unlimited ice cream and many deserts, plus fresh fruit for the diabetic person. The salads were green, fresh, and a good varity. There were no complaints from our red hat group of 22.

Loove this place. Been going there since i was a baby. Literally. It used to be called China Palace, which is what i will always know it as, but it has since then relocated and up sized. The business and food is great! Enjoy

It is now called Grand Village Buffet... I've been eating there food for 12+ years... Started out as a little carry out joint in E.P. It then moved into a building off of Washington Street (We called it 408, since the buffet + tax was 4.08) 12 years ago. Anyway, very good selection.. It has been much improved, even at it's new location. Excellent selection from salad, Sushi, Chinese, American, and a desert bar which highlights selectable ice cream flavors, cakes and even a chocolate fountain. I would highly recommend, and encourage you to try it out. Brothers own it, and many family members work there. In addition, they support the East Peoria community, and I've seen their advertisements on EP girls softball banners for donating funds as charity... Always a plus in my book.

This restaurant truly amazed me! I was invited to come and honestly buffet usually my last choice. After my visit at Grand Village Buffet, I would say it will be on top of my list now when it comes to dining out. The offering on the buffet was awsome and I opted most of the American dishes! I started out with the salad bar- the sliced lettuce was the plus, really fresh. There're several salad toppings you can choose from and I couldn't recall any other restaurant that offer many varieties in their salad line than GV. In the mean time I ordered the T-Bone steak at no extra charge. I thought I had to order the drink and I was told that there were no waitresses involved so I just got myself a cup of coffee and it was very fresh and hot. My steak came just in time right after my salad and it really impressed me. I ordered the medium and it was just right. The steak was so tender and I ate every bit of it. After the steak I just take some time to venture around to see what else on the buffet lines. I saw Prime Rib, Carved Ham and Turkey, then the boat-like buffet talbe of cold seafood and sushi and another one just like that with hot seafood items such as baked oyster and mussels, fried Catfish and Frog Legs, Stir Fried Shrimps, Grilled Salmon, and the one I really liked was the Butterfly Shrimp. Then I noticed the Stir-Fried Table. Eventhough I didn't try it but I think it's very interesting because it gives people their choice of picking their own veggies and meat so that the cooks prepare and bring out to your table. Very good concept. The thing I noticed most was that the business was so brisk. There were constant of peple in the line the whole time I was there and the management did a good job of moving the people. All the bus persons are friendly and efficiently picking up the customers' plates. It's really entertaining watching them working together as the team. Lastly I opted for some strawberries at the chocolate fountain talbe and along with that was a piece of coconut pie. And that was the conclusion of my experience at the GV buffet. Honestly I think I really got the bang for my buck! The food was good, the staffs are friendly, and the establishment was clean and efficiently. By the way I did read the review of somone just wrote recently and I do think that person was very jealous at GV's business and wrote a lot of garbage in order to mislead the public. Needless to say more the public do know which one is better when you look at that establishment's parking lot!
