Kaladi's 925 Coffee Bar, Galena

I've never written a review on anything, but I felt very strongly about the poor service that we received here today, so decided it may benefit others if they read our review. The customer service was some of the worst I've had in years. We didn't receive the drinks we ordered. We requested our muffins be warmed up in the microwave. We received cold muffins 15 minutes after we received our drinks. Also, they were playing Spanish music overhead. It was just an overall bad experience from a town that sees so much traffic, that you'd think places like this would have the whole customer service thing down.

If you are visiting in the winter GET HOT CHOCOLATE.hot chocolate hot chocolate hot chocolate.

i actually live in galena and my aunt and uncle own Kaladis. There caramel lattes,chicken sandwiches,strawberry smoothie and ice cream are all things i recommend. the place is very relaxing.they just opened another Kaladis in the Dubuque mall but it's not the same i like it better in Galena. they are a very good deal actually because i get things FREE! So all i got to say-is I LOVE YOU A LATTE!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and my vanilla latte was delicious, my wife's mocha was also very, very good. It is a great place to relax after your downtown shopping or you can go there before you start your shopping spree!!

Galena's has a great historic downtown with a bunch of sidewalk shops. Kaladi's seems like a great place to stop by for some good coffee. I ordered a double shot of espresso and it was okay, but my wife got an iced americano and didn't like it at all. The cafe was comfortable and there were quite a few people hanging out. I didn't see any other specialty coffee shops along the street, so this would be the place to go in town if you wanted something better than the coffee they would serve in other restaurants and diners on the same street.

The atmosphere was nice. It's a good place to have a cup of coffee, but I have one major complaint. The sandwich was missing several key ingredients that were supposed to be in it according to the menu. If they were out of them, it would have been nice to know.
