Kimberly if your child has a food allergy then bring something from home-Not McDonalds or another restaurant. There aren't too many restaurants that want food from another in theirs. Get a clue or hey maybe a babysitter would be an alternative.
This is a restaurant full of ignorant managers and owners. Our family went here during the fourth of July weekend. We have a child in our family with severe food allergies. We always stop at places we know are safe for him and bring his food with us. This way he can enjoy eating out with all of us and not go into anaphylactic shock. We brought in a tiny bag of food for him and no sooner had our party of ten sat down and ordered drinks that we had manager come to our table and proceed to tell us we couldn't have that food here. After we calmly explained the reason she said that is just their policy and he would be welcome to eat from the salad bar. The salad bar full of potential food allergens. We asked for the owner who was on vacation. We promptly left. We contacted the owner with high hopes of understanding. He ignorantly stood by his uneducated managers policy as well. We used to frequent this place and we will never set foot in here again. We visit many many restaurants all over the world and never have encountered this much ignorance. Hopefully these two uneducated persons will not encounter this type discrimination with their own families. Please stop eating here. Don't deserve your business.
I was just going to comment on the awesome food at Angelos, but after reading a couple comments about the waitress that has been there a long time, I'm pretty sure I know who they're referring to and she's not like that at all. She's probably the best waitress they have there. And that's saying a lot because we go in there all the time and pretty much all the waitresses there are excellent.
Anyway, the food is delicious there. Their pasta sauce is one of a kind and they have the best pizza in town. They also have a good buffet. If you're ever visiting our town, or if you're a local who has never tried Angelos, you have to pay them a visit.
Best Pizza and sandwiches anywhere. Supreme one of a kind sauce and bread. I moved to Texas 4 years ago and let me tell you there is no place that can even come close here in the Houston Area. Dine-in atmosphere is relaxing and the Stain Glass murals are Beautiful. Easy on the wallet too. I only wish Angelo's Pizzeria would expand here in the Kingwood/Humble Texas Area.
Angelos' pizza is legendary no matter which location, although Angelos II is recommended for sit-down type restaurant meals. Big, clean, tastefully decorated dining room in an antique motif. Former residents of the area have been known to bring dry ice with them so they can take several pizzas back home with them. No one I have ever taken there has been disappointed. Highly recommended. (The bread's great, too!)
I love everything about this place. Awesome food, great atmosphere, clean, fast & friendly service. You can purchase their sauce by the jar. We have shipped some along w/ their bread to MO & FL. A place you MUST go to when in town!!!
