The Market House Restaurant was established in 1982 by three women and was originally located on the corner of Perry Street and Commerce Street. At that time the restaurant was known as The Market House Tavern and served a limited menu. Some of the original items can still be found on our menu today; our Famous Homemade Crab Louis Salad, Galena's Number One Half Pound Tavern Burger, along with Beer Battered Onion Rings and the best Oven Roasted Reuben youac2ll find in the Midwest.
