Giuseppe's Italian Restaurant, Rockford

I have tried Pizza all over the city, and was pleasantly surprised to find the best around was just 5 minutes from the house. Luckily in Rockford, we are not forced to choose between which national chain pizza and have the choice of several very good locally owned businesses, each with their own unique flavor. The sausage must be locally made, the cheese from just across the WI border and the best pizza sauce I have ever had. I love the thin crust, cheese, sausage, mushroom and onion but all of their ingredients are fresh and it is delivered quickly and piping hot. I used to shop around but now if I would go somewhere else it would just feel wrong, but I do get to try other pizza in social situations, it usually just reminds me how much, I enjoy Guisseppe's. Dining in is fun also, neighborhood crowd, many young families and great prices. Why in the hell would anyone buy the crap that Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns and the like, when you can buy the best and support a local small business. And now after reading the reviews, I am going to have to try the Chicken Josephine.

Fabulous pizza! But the Chicken Josephine is to die for!! You have to try it just once but really there is nothing on their menu that I would not recommend, locally owned, small dining room but it is always a good time, good eats!

The best pizza EVER!!!!!!!! I highly recommend. I live 800 miles away and I take some home. It is so good.

Easily the best stuffed pizza and lasagna in Rockford.

Giuseppe's stuffed pizza is the best, I cant find another pizza place that even competes and I've been comparing for years. Try thas place if you havnt already. 815-871-7665

I've attended this pizza joint numerous times, and have enjoyed each visit. They have great deep dish pizza at a more than reasonable price. Blows Giordano's out of the water.

My and a bunch of my friends used to go here often to get their stuffed pizza. Don't bring credit because last time I checked they don't take it, but great food!
