Marcello's Father & Son, Chicago

This was one of my favorite places to go eat with my Grandma growing up in the 80's & 90's, but whoever took over Father & Son has done a terrible job keeping up with the famous Logan Square pizza place. The recipe has totally changed. You can taste it right away. And it's gotten too pricey!!! Your better off eating from one of the pizza joints on Fullerton like Big Tony's, Fiesta Pizza, or even Congress.

this place is NOT father and son. i ate father and son pizza every friday from the 1970s through the 1990s when i lived on augusta/wood street. moved out of state and came back recently. drove from western suburbs to the milwaukee restaurant just to eat my favorite pizza! but its called marcellos? and the pizza was horrible. they changed the recipe and cheapened the ingredients. i bought a large to freeze and fly home with me but i tossed it in the trash it was so bad. way to ruin a great pizza marcello. you lost a very long time customer.

on mothers day i ordered a pizza from this place and i was expecting the the usual great thin crust father and son pizza that they are famous for ,what happen'ed ? did you guys fire the cook? because if you did i need to know where he or she is at now! ,this pizza i had was not the original father and son pizza that they have had for years ,and take it from me i know ,i have been eating this pizza for as long as i have been living in chicago please dont change the recipe just cause you changed the name,or you will stand to lose another faithful customer sincerely your's father and son under cover promoter , and soon not to be if you keep up that terrible pizza.

Great food there isn't a single bad thing I have ever eaten there and I love theri garlic sticks but they should fire all their delivery drivers. I used to order from them once a week but for some reason I have run into a string of bad luck. The last four times its been an adventure. One time they guy was drop down drunk and you could smell the booze and the other three times when I order I usually get the same thing that comes out to 14 dollars and some change. Well the drivers think that if you give them 20 that they are entitled to the rest for tip and just walked away.I used to be a weekly loyal customer but that is ridiculous.

One of the best pizza's in Chicago is Father & Son Pizza...They make the best thin crust w/ plenty of sauce & cheese & sausage or other toppings...Their Deep dish is gr8 too...Their beef sandwiches are so delicious & tender it just melts in ur mouth...Their pasta & ravioli is gr8 too...They also deliver ...They have catering services for weddings, birthdays, or other special occassions...I've dined at Father & Sons' since I was a little girl...and it is one of the best Pizzeria's in the country...Nothing else can compare..The atmosphere is nice & friendly & clean...

Had a F&S asian salad last week (from a delivery order), and I can't stop thinking about it. My mom says they make the best salads, but I'm going back tomorrow to try other menu items.

My brother is a huge fan of this pizza and is making me order it frozen for delivery. I can't get past telling him my departure date without him placing his order. He loves it... we all do! Thank you for the tradition.

They changed their menu to enhance their overhead. There is no customer satisfaction here!!!!!
