Welcome to Sabatinos a beautiful old school Italian restaurant with delcious food and great ambieance. You get bread including focaccia - a kind of pizza bread, then a salad and soup, then an entree - try the veal Parmesan, and a side of pasta. Many recommend the baked Alaska dessert. Sabatino"s is dimly lit with flowers on every table, this Italian-American restaurant has been the perfect date restaurant for about 25 years. Diners might have their steak or seafood entrees complemented by the serenade of strolling musicians in the main room or piano music in the bar area. Angelo Pagni, who owns the restaurant with his brother, Enzo, said Sabatino's is popular in the neighborhood for a lot of reasons, food and atmosphere and chief among them. Stop in today!

I have been going to sabatinos for25 plus yrs all of my family & friends go there , we were known as the lunch bunch. I have neve r had a bad meal in all these yrs. I moved to Indianapolis 5 yrs ago and I crave there food. Angelo& Enzo are not only the owners but they are your friend Mel

Fantastic restaurant. If you like value for the buck, this is it. Five courses of high quality food for your dollar (pizza bread, salad, soup, main course, and side pasta). Plus you get freshly baked bread. Try the veal marsala.

The restaurant serves great minestrone soup, I even took some soup to go. My fiancee loves their steak but the consistency in size of the steak can be dissapointing (you never know what you will get) especially for the price (pricey). I have been there many times and the food has been good, however my mom did have the ribs and they were really tuff. Overall the staff has always been excellent and the atmosphere is romantic. I will go back.. even if it's just for the soup.

My family & I have dined at Sabatino's for many years....the food is outstanding and the owners and staff are wonderful. Don't miss out!!! You won't be sorry!!! The baked clams are out of this world!

My friend took me there for my birthday last week and even before walking out it was officially added to my top ten restaurants! The minestrone soup was THE BEST I have ever had and I've had alot *laughs*. The service was impecable and the food was amazing. It is a fabulous date restaurant, dimly lit and cozy but it's also a nice place for a few friends to get together and have a great meal, a few drinks while listening to a piano play in the background. Everything was delicious, I will be going there again and again.

Most everyone has said sabatino's was of the best. We went there about 3 years ago on a Saturday about 4 p.m. We had one of the worst food experiences of all time. Most everything was BAD! We looked for a manager to let them know of our BAD experience. No one to be found. We always let everyone we know of how BAD this restauraunt was.

Took my mother and soon to be mother in law to dinner for mothers day. My $45 steak was tough and overly fatty, when I asked for another the owner was extreme rude and snatched the plate from my hand and walked away from me while I was speaking to him. The following morning my fiancé suffered from severe food poisoning, it was so bad that I had to call an ambulance to pick her up. She spent over 6 hours in the emergency room. When I call the owner to complain the owner told me that we can't prove it and there is nothing he will do. I have never been offended in my life. We have frequented this restaurant for many years enjoying their lobster special on Wednesdays but never again. Anyone else had any similar experiences?

I have lived in the area for 36 yrs, frequenting eating at Sabatino's. I do not believe I have ever had an average meal there, always a superior meal. Each dish has it's own very special taste, with herbs and seasonings distinct to the choice. Sauces have great rich flavor, with ample sauce to enhance the entree. The wait staff very accomadating. I feel like a family member when I go in there, always leaving with a smile & doggy bag. I highly recommend this true Italian experience.If you don't go, you'll miss one of the best truly Italian Resturants in Chicago.

Great food and great owner! Went for a work party, and it was great to be able to sit and just talk about travel and food with the owner and staff. They all made us feel welcome, and the food is impecable...have to go there again.

I've been going to Sabatino's for years. The food is absolutely wonderful. I've taken family and friends and they have just loved the food. The service is execellent. The last time I was there, they didn't have something I was looking for on the menu, but the chef promptly made it for me. Talk about making me happy. Good food, good prices, great service. This is truly my favorite Italian restaurant.
