Piece Brewery & Pizzeria, Chicago

Great food; they have many other options besides pizza. Fun place to watch sports and have a gathering. If there is a wait, just grab a drink at the bar and enjoy their special brews.

Good Pizza. Better Beer. It does get busy during peak times. If you have been to a popular restaurant in Chicago, then you'll know what to expect. On our last trip we arrived at 4:45 on a Saturday and were seated immediately. 30 minutes later there was a line out the door. Grab a beer while you wait a few minutes and have a good time. I'll be back.

My trip to Piece was the highlight of a business trip I made to Chicago two weeks ago. The place was recommended by a friend of mine who has been there many times. I was with a colleague from my company, so I wanted to make a good impression. We arrived on the later side, around 9:30 pm, and the place was still very busy. I'm not a beer drinker, but my colleague is, and he sampled several of the in-house brews and was very impressed. We ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and cheese (which must be requested on East Coast-style pizza). After watching others eating and enjoying their food, our anticipation was heightened and we were not disappointed. Though we were very hungry, we couldn't finish the huge, well-adorned pie. Even after we were stuffed, we were still picking at the remaining slices because it was all so good. When the server asked us if we wanted to take the rest home, I lamented that it wouldn't survive an unrefrigerated trip to New Jersey. I've told many people about Piece and will absolutely be back there the next time I have to go to Chicago.

I have been going to Piece since I 1st moved to Chicago last spring. The service has been good until recently. It was so bad that I had to complain to the manager, truly ruined my dining experience. I will still patronize Piece, because, even though the wait staff was terrible the manager did attempt to smooth things over, plus the fact that they have the best pizza and beer in the city.

This place is awesome. It has a large bar that seems to take up no space and in a city that feels kind of cramped, there is a flow and relaxation to be had in Piece. The pies are excellent and don't miss the salads and appetizers... awesome!

Great place to drink like a rock star. Live band will back you up for karaoke and after you can quench your thirst with a Stiegl.

Thin crust pizza the way it should be. Like the beer there also. We really enjoy going there for pizza, beer, and sports on TV. My wife hates the toothbrush glasses they give you for the pitchers, though.

This place is great - laid back environment with a large open space. Great beer brewed on the premises. Try some of the more unusual pizza toppings - like the mashed potato and clams. I know it sounds weird (I was fearful at first) but it was actually really good. Great place to go with a large group of friends.

The best pizza and most importantly the BEST Beer in Chicago. Award winning brewer on site.
