I have been ordering from this restaurant for 30 years. Food has always been well priced and well prepared except the fried rice. It's dry and alot of times it is still partially white rice. My biggest complaint was they don't send enough soy or sweet and sour sauce. It took me years to convince her (Judy) to quit being so cheap, it makes you angry to order 5 egg rolls and get 2 sauce packets. This is the 3rd or 4th owner I have gone through and it is the best for ordinary Cantonese. Sun Wah on Lincoln is horrible and over priced. Orange garden is a shell of it's former self and refuses to deliver. Best of Tom Lee's: Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Crab Rangoon, Combination Lo-Mein, Sweet and Sour anything!
This is the closest Chinese place to my house and I would often go there two to three times a week. That is until I noticed the lady behind the counter clipping her finger nails while my food was being prepared only a few feet away. She just let them fly. I ran out and haven't looked back. It's too bad because I really their food. Next time you go in just remember that you might be getting more than you pay for. It's been awhile so maybe she has stopped. But then again maybe she hasn't.
