I actually disagree about the gyros... this is my favorite place to get them. At some point I'd tried gyros at a few places in Greek town then here, and here is way better. It may be because not too many people order them here (at least versus in Greek town), and the meat skewer gets crispier on the outside when they slice it, which I like, they also kind of grill the meat first. I also have found the service to be pretty nice and good, and I think the prices are a little less than average, though higher than some. And their fries? I think they're particularly good, I forget when I've not had them for a while. I like this place, for this kind of food. I've also had a patty melt which was good too.

This is the only lunch spot in this area. Worst fries on the planet! The gyros here is the worst in Chicago. Very $$$ for what they give you. Another Slop-house pick
