This place is truly a Mexican establishment. The authenticity of their food, service and atmosphere is second to none. The overall quality of the restaurant is reason enough to go, and the experience will make you want to come back. Friday and Saturday nights offer a live Marichi band. So imagine eating your favorite Mexican dish while enjoying great live music as well. This place is not your typical corner of the block taco stand.

Great Restaurant in Chicago I recomend Mi Tierra exelent food and service .

7 of us went 4 adults 3 children. The service I have to say was amazing. We made reservations and were quickly seated when we arrived. Our waitress was fantastic as was the busser. the mole enchildas are deeeeelicious as is the queso fundido. The staff was so welcoming and very efficient. So efficient that by the time we had dessert all that remained on out table was our drinks I NEVER had to flag a waitress or waiter down for ANYTHING. The atmosphere is fun and engaging. This was a family gathering and my nephews entertained us by dancing the robot beside our table. This place is fantastic and reasonably priced Seven of us ate for about $100 dollars plus tip and we were all stuffed! The flan is awesome and so is everything else I test tasted. Mi Tierra...we shall meet again. =)

They have really great food. Everything is authentic and while your there it seems like youve stepped right into Mexico. They have mariachi on the weekends and the drinks are good as well. I definately would recommend this place to those who want an authentic experience

Friday nites at Mi Tierra are great, the music/ Mariachis and the crowed of people make it lively, food is okay nothing to write home about, prices are high,and the margaritas are soooo GENERIC, and then they have the nerve to charge $1.00 extra for the strawberries that they don't even put in the margaritas, all that is put in there is a coloring or flavoring of strawberry NO REAL FRUIT ,but you will be charged. I say you want intertainment go to Mi Tierra, but if you want great food and GREAT margaitas go to Sabor Mexico

I can honestly say that Mi Tierra is by far, the best Mexican restaurant ive ever been to, here in Chicago. It is well known for the parrilladas, which is the best thing to get if its your first time along with some beans and rice. It is a wonderful place to eat and have fun with friends and family, specially on special events like graduations, mother's day or a birthday. I highly reccomend it to those who want to have a fun time and enjoy a great mexican dish. In general its perfect for anybody who's up for some mexican food.

The prices are great and the food is SSSSOOOO GGGGOOODD. The Sangria is to die for. The seafood is fresh and tasty and I have yet to have a better premium margarita. Bring the whole family but if it is on a Friday please have make reservations the lines get kind of long for this great eatery.

The restaurant is the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in IL. The ambiance is absolutely wonderful. The restaurant staff do an excellent job of engaging their customers to participate in their joint celebrations with the customers who are celebrating a special event. The food was delicious and served in timely manner. My overall grade would be A+++++.
