Zentra, Chicago

Of all the gin joints in the city i had to walk up to this one. First of all gettin on the guest list at Zentra means absolutly nothing. The sevice you recieve is far below average. And think twice about what u ware to Zentra because even if you meet the dress code rquirement they'll make up a something to keep you on the outside (i.e. your pants are too baggy). And dont plan on enjoying too many of those $5 beers or watered down drinks because, one false step they'll tell you that your to drunk to remain in the club. So for the $10 cover charge the crowded dance floor and over priced drinks your probably better off spend the evening in your friends basement mix you own drins and playing your own music.

ive been in chicago my whole life been to tons of clubs but i yet to have a bad experience at zentra's two floors of music and a side room right by the patio area with great music as well

You will always find me at Zentra when my uncle, Johnny Fiasco, is spinning. He's a kick ass dj that really brings down the house. Not to mention it's fun to hear me on his records every now and then. Regardless Zentra has a nice mix of house and hip hop amongst the two floors. Great bartenders, and a good mix of people. The decor of the club really ties it all together to bring you another great drunken night! Hope to see you there!

Depending on what night you attend this club seems to influence the experience. It seems that Friday nights have a better amount of people. There's a crowd, but not the point where you worry about spilling your drink because of people getting knocked into you. When it becomes that crowded, then it is not as enjoyable.

The place is undergrond and very clean.The enviornment is very relaxed and the music is very relaxed with Dj Iphiniti spinning some house music. It isn't a dress up place so you can wear just some nice jeans and a nice shirt. Long or short sleaved.
