Leona s Restaurant has the best selection of pastas in the Chicago region. Heard about it from my brother and decided to go there last night and man was my bro right. From lasagnas and mac n cheese to pasta bowls and fettuccine, there are just so many to choose from! Best Italian restaurant in the area, no contest.
My wife and I went here for our vacation from London to see Chicago and came across Leona s restaurant. The food quality here is great and filled with a wide variety even to fit our hunger. It was a lively environment and the service was unbelievable. If you ever need a place to eat, come to Leona s Restaurant today and see for yourself.
I came here for brunch and got a whole lot more pasta than I was counting on. Garlic bread, calimari, pizza, the works, me and my crew got our brunch on good. Definitely a solid Italian restaurant, nice neighborhood feel and good service. Would recommend if you re in the mood for proper Italian food.
the best delivery burgers you could find in town...delivered nice and warm...Love All the burger selection...and chicken fingers are delicious as well..
I also recomment their lasagna....excellent!!!!!
While the rest of the food on the menu may be tasty, the hot wings that my girlfriend ordered from this location was just awful. She ordered takeout to share and we unfortunately live approximately 50 miles north of the city, so we could not take them back. At first taste, the wings were way too salty for words. I ended up rinsing all of the sauce off and eating the wings bare and even then, the sodium content was overpowering. Please DO NOT order any buffalo wings/hot wings from any Leona's as they all use the same recipe, which was altered approximately 3 years ago. These were the best chicken wings in the city of Chicago, now they're just awful. My lips were numb after eating them, not so much from the sauce, but from the salt. YUCK!!! I am in the process of making a formal complaint with Leona's corporate office.
This Chicago-based chian is one of our local favorites. All of the food is really, really good. They have a HUGE menu with quite a few signature items (like the psychedelic salad) and something to please just about everyone. The wait can get a little long sometimes, but the free bread with herbed butter and stack of trivia cards helps to pass the time.
