Good Food
By Joyce, 3/14/07
Good food. My family and I enjoyed the BBQ pork, potstickers, Beef Kow, General Tso's chicken. The orange chicken is usually very good but I thought it was a tad dry this time. The chicken noodle soup is passable, kind of bland, again I thought the chicken was a tad dry.

Won Kow
By Mark, 10/4/04
I had dinner at Won Kow on 10-04-04. The egg rolls were not very good at all, the won ton soup was so-so, but the dinners we had, General Tso's chicken, and Shrimp with Pea Pods were very good.

Great Dim Sum
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/26/07
The ingrediants were very fresh and food was excellent. Only negative was the egg rolls...very plain and overcooked. We went with kids and they just loved trying new foods. dim sum was a big hit and we ate far too much.

I've eaten here about four times on trips to Chicago, and always liked it, although I find it to be a bit too salty. The prices are right (less than $5.00 for the lunch special), and the food is always hot and fresh. It's one of the better Chinese restaurants I've been to. RJT

Good food and piles of it!
By Chicago Gal, 7/11/07
I love this place. Sure you have to travel up a huge flight of stairs to get to it but the food is fresh and they give you enough to last a week. The service is ok - kind of amusing, really. My friends and I go there so often you'd think they'd recognize us and be a smidgen more personable but...oh well. Anyway, try the Chow Foon, it's delightful.

The restaurant is a great find! I happened to stumble across it with a friend. We were overwhelmed with the huge amount of food, we were able to share and try each others out. And it was definitly moderatly priced. Enjoy a volcano coctail, they are excellent!
