Mellow Yellow Restaurant, Chicago

I remember going there a few times years ago and dont quite remember how the food was back then but I do know how how it is now. I had a Perch Fish Dinner. The batter on the fish tasted bland and not fully cooked. It was the worst perch fish I have ever had. I feel right now like I want to regurgitate it!

Mellow Yellow: The food is great! I love the spinach crepe. I enjoy eating there or carryout.

Their menu is all comfort foods, but a WIDE VARIETY!! Burgers, entrees, breakfast all day, crepes, desserts, Mexican food, exotic food, appetizers. The menu is like 10 pages thick. And their drink options are huge too (although not so much alcoholic options.) Seating is some booths, some little bistro tables & chairs. Parking is tight with a few street spots in front, and a parking lot in back that is shared by the entire Hyde Park downtown Pros: Great menu, good variety, cheap prices!! Cons: Not such a COOL place

Loved the Swedish pancakes, eggs were perfectly cooked, everything was very good. Service was great. Look forward to visiting Chicago again and eating at Mellow Yellow!

mello yellow has a huge variety on their menu, including breakfast all day! i enjoy their comfort foods as well as the comfortable atmosphere...i love it!!

We decided on breakfast. The food was okay, nothing to rave about. Eggs were made exactly as we ordered, the potatoes left something to be desired. The service was poor. Our waitress forgot all about us. Overall, It would be a place I would return to as a last resort.

i live in hydepark chicago & this place is really the best. Good food...nice waiters, nice smiles to Greet you... fresh Squeezed Orange juice to....I love eating there.

Mellow yellow Is A Wonderfull Place In Hyde Park chicago ..they Have lava Lamps for your enjoyment To watch !!! & there fresh Squeezed Orange Juice Is Soooo Good....its A friendley Place & They treat You good & Waits On you with a Smile..i Love Sitting By The Windows & watching The people Walking By !!! Breakfast is Good & Everyything is Good.,,They Usally Have there Menue,s on outside For you to Brouse Threw ,,thats What I Love About good ohhhh Chicago ..Chicago is The Best City ...thanks Mello Yello ..Peggy Sue.
