Geja's Cafe, Chicago

This is the place for a romantic date. Not only is the atmosphere perfect, but the food is spectacular-especially the cheese fondue. And the choice of wines and knowledge of staff makes it a place you will want to return to again and again!

Our 2nd visit over a 2 year span. We don't have a fondue restaurant in Canton,OH so when we travel we'll hit one if possible. This is the best so far. Food is great, wine list great, very private and cozy tucked in a basement with low lighting and low ceilings. Will go back our next trip to Chi.

I am from Australia, and my girlfriend had arranged dinner at Geja's for our first anniversary. I was so impressed by every aspect of this place. It was very romantic, the food was great and the atmosphere created by us trying to eat, fondue style set the scene for a very memorable first anniversary. I fell even more in love with her that night, and Geja's was the perfect place for our first real celebration together. Thankyou, and we both will be back!

Went here for my anniversary last weekend! Its fabuloso! I love the ambience! Great variety even for my husband who is a veggie! 2 thumbs up!

Great food, awesome service, totally worth every penny. The amount of food you get can feed a small army for a week! We reccommend the ice wine after dessert.

I went there w. my other 2 friends last Sat. night. After waiting for 50 mins, we finally got a cozzy place. The appetizer was the cheese fondue w. grapes, apples, bannanas, bread(not good). Maindish was the olive oil fondue w. shrimp, aged beef, lobster tail, chicken, and some vegetables. After tasting 2 pieces, I started to feel oily. Dessert was the chocolate fondue w. fruits. The chocolate was too sweet. User bitter chocolate shall be better. Overall, it was just an okay dining experience.

I love Geja's - it is the most romantic place in Chicago. Very cosy and nice, semi-dark. Candle light. Soft sweet music. Stone walls, Excellent wine, Hot fondue. Love birds couples, pleasant laughs, soft conversations. Food is terrific, dessert is even better. Service was impeccable. Take your loved one to Geja's and enjoy being in love.
