This is the greatest mexican food place in the world. its open 24/7 365 and with the best service in town and the best food in town how could you not love this lincoln park landmark. the great food and great service has me coming back every time. I have not been to any other restaurant that is even close to this place in greatness. If i could i would live above the restaurant and eat there for every meal for the rest of my life and enjoy every single second of it!!!!

For the past 20 years I have been enjoying the consistent flavors of El Presidente. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and holidays, this modest restaurant serves up authentic, un-foofy Mexican food that sticks to the ribs and lingers in the memory. The extensive menu includes chilaquiles, the perfect hangover breakfast food made with scrambled eggs (or not), shredded chicken and tortilla chips bathed in red sauce and smothered in life-giving melted cheese. Rice and beans come with this dish and are no less enjoyable.
