What a disappointment. Must be targeted to off-guard tourists as I find it hard to believe they have repeat customers. Mushy scallops, boring chicken, steak with nothing special about it. Only positive was pleasant waiter. With so many wonderful establishments in the Windy City, so sorry I spent a meal in Chicago here. Kathryn from Michigan

My family, brother in law and his daughter(5 of us over 21, 3 over 56 yrs.)ate here Sat. June 6, 2009. The food was greasy and not very flavorful but the real hassle was that my son and his girlfriend were carded at the bar, then the table 15 minutes later--while they still had their drinks from the bar in front of them. They then sent over two different managers, not to apologize, but to justify their officious annoying behavior! We will never go back--they are really pathetic and ruined a rather indifferent meal. Who needs it?

Average at best - nothing spectacular. For the price, I would expect to have my socks knocked off, but didn't. It was good, don't get me wrong, but the quality was similar to Texas Roadhouse - a much cheaper place with identical quality. I ordered a side of mushrooms to accompany my steak, and for $6 you don't get very much. For a similar (maybe higher price) with something that will knock your socks off, try Dikta's or Harry Carey's - much better. For similar quality and quantity - go to Texas Roadhouse or Outback.

The nastiest toughest rib I have ever eaten! I wouldn't feed to a pet. We visited this place in Chicago in October, after having noticed the formed line out the door the night before. We figured it must be good. The waiter came up with a trainee, and although he accompanied her throughout our service, they both managed to serve me the same side of vegetable three times in a row, even though I had ordered 2 different sides. The lemon mojito tasted like they made it from old dishwater. But the killer was the baby back ribs - I knew I was in trouble when it made a tearing sound from the bone. Sounded like paper on fire. To their credit, a manager did come up unsolicited to ask how the meal was as we were leaving. She seemed shocked when she heard our review, like she had never heard such a thing. No consolation or offer of good faith. Will never visit again - vacations are too short.

As a former native who was in town for business. there were 3 things I needed. A hot dog, an Italian Beef sandwich and ribs. Thought about Carson's for the ribs, but Weber Grill was right down the street from the hotel. The ribs were outstanding. The service was excellent and the people around me were raving about their food as well. My only complaint was that I didn't eat enough!

Looks like Weber has issues with getting its service correct. I went last night with a reservation and my wife and I weren't able to sit down until 30 minutes after the time promised (8/7/08 8:30PM). We weren't the only ones that were screwed with our reservations times and when we sat down, there were two ladies that told us that they had waited over an hour for their meal to arrive. Bottom line, we received complimentary onion string appetizer that ended up pretty good and the full slab of ribs were amazing. I would go back again even with the hassle of the poor service. I think they need to work out the logistics at Weber grill because it was obvious the servers were polite but they just couldn't deliver a quality dining experience. The ribs were excellent but I'd have to go during some off peak time.

6/14/2008, 2nd time there. First time witress was a snippy little wench, food was good but on the high side for what you get. Second time an hour and a half later and still no food. We left before it came and will NEVER look back. But I did get a $25 parking bill for trying to get dinner. Too bad for Weber.
