Went on a first date here and my date and I had a blast. The server was really nice and friendly. We went in the afternoon so it was mildly crowded. But our table was clean, our food came pretty quick and I think I drank to much all together. Sorry, I can't give you anymore details but what I do remember eating food and cheesecake (of course). I just liked the atmosphere. IT was worth the drive.
We ate outside on Saturday. The food was wonderful and I love sitting outside. There even was entertainment. Service was really bad. Our order was messed up and it took forever to correct it. My husband ordered eggs, toast, hash browns and ham. It came with no hash browns and a bagel instead. After 5 minutes or so the hash browns came out but no butter for the toast. I would think that should take a second to correct but at least another 5 minutes went by before that came. It also took a really long time to get change back after paying. Hopefully this was just an unusual occurance. By being prompt they could have seated another table in the time it took us to get served. Jackie
My experience at the Cheesecake Factory in Skokie was excellent. When you enter the restaurant it appears to be a palace. Your wait will not be long and your servers will have excellent appearance and training. I tell all my friends and family to come to the Cheesecake Factory to receive excellent service and have a fabulous time.
But I will eat here! The food is awesome, a huge menu and just about everything on it is great! I suggest the Jamaican Black Pepper Shrimp for people with a spicy craving. Food is the same (great) at all locations nationwide. However they always cramp people in and if they put you at a two person table it is not really big enough for all your plates. Service at this one has sucked for the most part, I have been here a few times and even when they are slow there is slow and bad service. This does bother me somewhat so I feel the need to reduce their income for the night. The other thing is the garage parking is about $17 without valet and this factory does not validate parking (the one in Denver will pay your parking). I'm told the cakes are realy good but not really my thing but they have some great chocolate cakes!!!
