Wildfire has always been my favorite steak house until I found Outback Steakhouse. I love Outback's steaks better than Wildfires' at a very reasonable price.

I was violently ill after visiting this restuarant. I will never go back.

Wildfire has always been one of my favorite spots in the city for grilled meats. I have the number in my mobile's address book as it is always an option when the oppurtunity arises. I've had many of their dishes but Wildfire is best known for their selection of Filet Mignon. The filets are always a great choice and I usually opt for the hot and spicy flavors found in the Horseradish Encrusted Filet. It is served atop a moist peice of bread to prevent drying out and is wrapped with a slice of cured and salted bacon to further prevent drying out of this lean and tender cut of meat. Horseradish sauce is served on the side and of course the top is encrusted with a very thick layer of grated horseradish. Sides are plentiful and the available options are bound to be enjoyed by every diner. You will definatly find something you want. I usually opt for a side of creamed spinach and a rubbed and baked sweet potatoe. The appetizer list always has something to nibble on and their most popular choices are the spinach and artichoke dip and their signature grilled mussles which are steamed in a rich butter sauce with fresh herbs. It's very simple, delicious, fragrant and enough for two. The desert menu rarely changes and has a nice variety. I always get dessert...and I always enjoy them. Treat yourself to a night here and you will always leave happy. The cuts of meat are huge and the atmosphere will remind you of the super clubs that dominated the early part of the 1900s. The wine selection is vast, the ambiance is comfortable and unprtentious, the food is always cooked to perfection and it's a great place for an intimate dinner to a nice sized crowd of close friends......eat and spend here....you'll be glad you did.

My favorite steak joint in Chicago outside of Gibsons. Service is excellent as are the steaks. Excellent wine selection as well and prices are on par for this type of establishment.
