Rainforest Cafe, Chicago

My son loves the resturant. They have a great atmopshere for kids and adults.

If you have small children this might be a place for you, but for the $ the 5 fish tanks and long wait you would be better off going to a mcdonalds with a play room or chucky cheese pizza. I went with 3 adults and we couldn't hear each other talk because of all the kids screaming. And the 1/2 hour wait is a huge scam to get you to buy stuff from there gift shop. Food was at a denny's level.

I like the Rainforest cafe, because of it entertainment of animals. It is especially nice to see kids expressions on the things that they see here. I think the kids really enjoy seeing the animals and it makes them curious about the different animals, which can make I think a good learning experience as well. I also like the food here, especially the buffalo wings. The only thing I would say I don't like about the Rainforest Cafe is the parking if you don't want to pay it, since it is located in the downtown area.

I loved this place. It is very themed and makes you feel like you are truly in a different place. The workers were very entertaining and seemed to really enjoy working there. They would yell and cheer and actually entertain you. It has been a while since I have been to a place that does this. As for the food, it was very good. But, I wish I wasn't so full that I couldn't try the VOLCANO! I love how they screamed VOLCANO as they walked out with the enormous pile of dessert topped with a sparkler in their hands. Absolutely wonderful environment. But the only problem is that all this activity kind of took away from the basic waitering service that you expect from a restaurant. But, I did not pay attention to that, except when I was thirsty. But, hey, they are people and people cannot do everything. A+ in my book.

We always make plans for dinner when in town, great surroundings and the food is good for the price. Our kids look forward to all the robot-animals around the dining room and the lively decor. Good food @ good price.

If it wasn't for the animals, I probably would have left right away. The food was too expensive for the atmosphere.

It's good, but not great. Somewhat overpriced for what you get.

I love this restaurant! It was so great for the kids. They had trainers there with different birds and the kids could pet them. They loved the food, there was a variety. My husband and I found something we liked and so did our kids. We also loved looking in the gift shop. It gave restless kids something to do, so they could walk around. They also loved the giant aquarium. It was so cool to see all the fish. We loved the animatronics as well. They added a whole dimension to the eating experience. I love this restaurant!
