PF Chang's China Bistro
P.F. Chang's China Bistro is a chic Chinese restaurant which attracts a lot of tourists, especially families. The dishes are very well presented, and the service is warm. Try the orange-peel beef peppers and scallops with lemon sauce, they are divine. The wine list has more than 50 wines to choose from. Make sure you are well dressed as the crowd is fashionable.
I was shorted on my meal, let me explain something, i really don't like lousy service at the prices that PF CHANGS is charging. I received a very very small portion of almond/cashew chicken and my 7 year old son got 6 pieces sweet and sour chicken and we each got a bowl of rice + a mini dessert for 39.99, thats a rip off !!! even in todays economy, but lets not stop there, i ordered a beer, after all this a staff dinner that we go to every year and i wanted to relax, --and guess what??? i finally received my beer at the end of the meal, let me be clear, i will never, ever, never and ever go to your restaurant again, further i will tell our HR department to never , ever, never , ever buy any more of your PF CHANGS cards. I had a very very disappointing time. I remember a time when i had to get a to-go box when I ordered the two meal special. You folks are going to be out of business in a year or two, with the lousy service and the very very small portions and the over pricing, and to add insult to injury you charged me 10.00 gratuity. But this feels good to let you know, and since i am an expert with web design and meta--tags, i intend to let the entire internet know just what a lousy restaurant you have. What a rip off !! My bill was 72.00 !!!!! that includes your 10.00 gratuity for nothing !! No worries our company will not ever purchase your gift cards again!! Thanks so much for listening, btw i had to stop and buy my son supper at a fast food restaurant because you folks must be cutting way back on your portions, i mean 6 sweet and sour chicken pieces is ridiculous for 20 bucks!! Look at it this way, you saved some money with your portions but you lost the entire staff from our company for ever !! No more office parties, no more evening meals with you guys, you're mgmt is clueless !! btw, you treated all of the folks at our table the same non-caring way, you didn't discriminate, our marketing guy is still waiting on his mixed drink, LOL !! congrats !!
Ripped off in Oklahoma City
Me and my boyfriend went friday. did not make reserves.had lettce chicken wraps horrible! look like dog food and has an over powering soy sauce salty taste and on the other plate was it look like thay took a small lettuce and slide it a have and served it on a plate. I had shimp lo mein horrible the noodles were overcooked. boyfriend had sweet and sour chicken which you can tell was cooked in some kind of wine or liquor.
From fine rice wines to seafood cuisine- PF Chang is the place to be.
This is a good spot to entertain guests or close that business deal. Bar on the first floor, dining area on the 2nd. Elegant. Downtown. The Shark has to be ordered a week in advance. Bring your wallet.
It also helps that a good ol' co-worker of mine is a server there. The waitstaff's turn around for service was impeccable.
The food is fresh. If you are calorie conscious, then you will be glad to know that the serving are adequate.
Futhermore, the decor and ambience is very high class without the prices having to reflect that.
I made a long trip to this place and to be honest, it was only good, not great. The restaurant was nice, even though it was not alot of light. The appetizer was okay, but for the price I suggest going straight to the meal. the presentation was pleasant and the main course was good. But for those who may have high blood pressure, indicate for them to be light on the soy sauce. I had the Kung Pao and I am not a diabetic and don't want to be that way, but it was SO SALTY that I had to re-order. The chicken and fried rice was much better. the dessert was GREAT!! They have a fried banana treat that will knock you off your feet, and it is served with ice-cream. So, for the money (I spent $65) you can get a good meal from PFC.
This place--for looking so snazzy- is not really that expensive. I have never had anything there that I did not like. They have a great menu, delicious choices. mmm and desserts are great! You should definitely try this fried banana and vanilla ice cream dish--it's superb! They have some chocolate choices for you chocoholics, too. Definitely a nice, romantic place to go or just to go with some friends.
Pass the sauce bowl, sprinkle on those great tasting sauces, sip a great unique tea, then wait for the taste buds to explode on the fist mouthful of whatever entree you try. Reasonable price range, great selection of food and flavors, wait staff that will mix your sauces, suggest different ways to spice your meal and attend to your needs. P.S. The Great chocolate wall is a cake to die for on the dessert menu.
This restaurant is great. I often go with a group of 4 or more and we always have a good time, but the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and somewhat romantic, so this would be a good place for dinner for two as well. The service is normally pretty quick and the waiters/waitresses are pretty courteours and polite. They offer some of the best appetizers, including egg rolls, crab rangoon, and lettuce wraps filled with meat. Not only that, but their entrees are delicious. The honey shrimp, lo mein, mongolian beef, and fried rice are a few of my favorites, but many of their other dishes are great as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others, and in fact, I rave about it all the time.
