Description

Since its opening in 1924, by two brothers from Italy, this local favorite has received numerous prizes. It really is Giordano's famous stuffed pizza here, have no doubt. While this local chain restaurant has several locations, this is the biggest and best. The Mostaccioli here is more than simply tasty. Lasagna Florentine with Alfredo sauce also holds its own.

This as I was told from a resident of Chicago is just a tourist place. The food was awful and they lie about the wait time. We were a party of 5 and they told us 15 minutes. So we waited with everyone else after one hour and 10 minutes we were seated by the bathroom. We had ordered the pizza ahead of time and it was cold when they brought it. In other words, keep looking for some place else to eat... Save your money and your time!!! Not worth either one.

I have lived in Chicago all my life, and I love Giordano's pizza. It is not my favorite thin crust, that goes to Vito and Nicks, and it is not my favorite stuffed, that goes to Lou's. However, Giordano's is excellent pizza. There may be a lot of tourists in the city location, but there are a ton of Giordano's in the suburbs and I think that is telling. They make a good quality pizza, both thin crust and deep dish.

I did worked at Giordano's for several years, so i have a loot of experience with everything!Food is disgusting and believe me you don't want to see how they are making at(mostly with dirty hands)I myself and everybody who works or worked there have seen and did serve pizza from the floor( when corner slice is falling down in that big rush).around is DIRTY!Just think, everybody who works there doesn't eat stuff pizza especially not with vegetables(they put water inside the cheese,so lower part of the Doe is WET ,most of the complaints are for this). The stuff pizza takes at least 45 min to cook, and very very often it happens the pizza cooks to forgot to put your order! So imagine, you were already waiting for 45 min 10-15 till they realize that are missing pizza, and 45 on the top of that, for the new one!How long is this making your wait?Calculate!

Best Pizza Place in Town: Giordano's is the best place in Chicago to get Chicago style pizza. Even though the service is not the best, Because they always get the orders wrong or take forever to make the pizza.

This place is a tourist trap.Try one of there locations. No native in their right mind would put up with the wait, the cold pizza, and the horrible staff. Avoid it at all cost.

This pizza was the best I ever had...I have fantasized about it many times after leaving Chicago. But it did take a WHOLE HOUR for our pizza to get to our table. Luckily my infant decided to take a nap during that time, but still...they weren't that busy and it takes an hour for a couple of slices of pizza?

First off, we live in Chicago this place is not good. If you want good pizza try Unos Due, Lou's,Ginos East! If you like crust like the pizza box it came in then you may enjoy this Strip Mall type pizza.
