Mike Ditka's Restaurant, located in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast between Rush & Michigan, is a Chicago Landmark. Ditka's has a decidedly understated sports motif, white linen table clothes, hardwood floors, intimate leather booths & rich mahogany wood accents. Chef Tom Kenny presides over the menu with passion & expertise. Known for Chops & Steaks including the signature dish "Da Pork Chop" along with a wide variety of fresh, sustainable seafood and contemporary American classics. The lunch menu is full of wonderful fresh salads & sandwiches including the "Best Burger in Chicago", the Fridge Burger. Service is approachable & friendly in a comfortable atmosphere. Don't be surprised to catch sight of Da Coach himself.

Not worth the wait

Maybe the chefs were just having a bad night, but the food was mediocre, at best. The large steak we ordered had little taste and I've definately had better cajun style shrimp many other places. The service was also average, not what you would expect from a higher end restaurant. It was also extremely noisy, so if you like quiet dinners, this is not the place for you.

Ditka's Paddle Steak

I've been to many top rated steak houses and Ditka's has my favorite steak. The Kick Ass Paddle Steak is consistently the tastiest steak. I use the bone in ribeye as my barometer to gauge steaks by and have not found any better than Mike's

Expect nothing less than perfection

The ambience, the food, the martinis - excellent. It is the home of the only REAL pork chop in the known universe. If you leave without having one of Da Coach's signature cigars, you have missed an essential part of the Iron Mike's experience.

Was the best brunch we ever had!

It has been awhile since we were at Ditka's, but we recall it to be excellent. The food was superb. I remember even the coffee was excellent. Can't wait to go back!
