Ditka's, Chicago

What a great place to have some drinks and talk sports. I usually go here once a week to get one of Mike's favorites. The staff know how to treat their customers and the prices are not too taxing for downtown. If you're visiting you must check out Ditkas.

Today We went to Ditka's for Restaurant Week. Two of us had the Talapia and 2 had the Pork Chop. All meals were Great. The Talapia came with rice & a Pinapple Salsa (Out of this world) The Pork Chop came with mashed sweet potato, I was told this was equally Great. You had a choice of soup or salad and also came with Banana Cream pie or cheesecake. It was a great meal and great value. Our Waiter Ed made this meal truely a meal to remember. ( Thanks Ed ) If you want a Great Meal at a great price go to Ditka's and ask for Ed the best waiter I have had in some time.

I ate at Ditka's with four of my friends on Oct, 15, 2010.The wait staff were very friendly and attentive, the food AWESOME! I had the prime rib (delishious) and we all shared pot roast nachos (I want MORE!) Every one in my group raved about their selection. I was even treated to a complimentary molten chocolate cake (with a candle!) for my birthday. The biggest thrill of all was actually meeting "Da Coach" upstairs and having my picture taken with him!

Food was great, but totally over priced. Waiter brought me the wrong steak--which was $30 more than the one I ordered. No offer was made to fix waiter's error. Menu is limited, unless you like steak. Lobby gift shop adds to the tackiness of faux elegance. If you visit Chicago, avoid this place.

A pleasant steakhouse in The Tremont, noisy and the food is ok. Bring me back Crickets Bar!

One of the few celeb restaurants that really has good food. Pork chops are really outstanding.

It is great to go on a Saturday and be able to see DA COACH.
