Home Run Inn Pizza & Restaurant, Chicago

This is one of my favorite family restauarants. We go here at least twice a month.

Greatest sausage pizza period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great place for a party or an outing after the game. Do it often with my team.

Love the Friday buffet - especially the fried catfish at a pizza buffet!

First time I tried their pizza was at the Taste of Chicago and their sausage pizza is addictive! Such good flavor, it's my first choice in Chicago pizza places, which is no easy thing to say. Service here was top-knotch and the atmosphere is exactly what a pizza place should be - cool, a bit of a throwback, and welcoming. Best Chicago pizza place.

I love home run pizza very much! It's very tasty and satisfying to the hunger. The customer service and the atmosphere in the restaurant is second to none. For some reason you can't make it here, the frozen pizza aint bad either!

Home Run Inn is very overrated. It's very greasy, and gives me a stomach ache whenever I eat it. No one should judge this place as genuine Chicago style pizza. For that go to Giordano's.

Grew up on this pizza from the 31st street location over 50 years ago but I see they now have several locations in the Chicago suburbs. We have landed in Houston, via many other cities, and are able to buy the frozen Italian sausage pizza, our favorite, at our local grocery store. Have never found a pizza restaurant that has come close to Home Run Inn's pizza in any of the cities we have lived in.

I grew up in Chicago, eating Home Run Inn pizza from this place. Back then it was always busy. Not so much now since the neighborhood has changed so much. However, the pizza is still one of the best around. Really good!

I'm sorry to hhear about the quality of this pizza as it was one of the best in Chicago years ago. I lived in Chicago and moved about 17 years ago and the last time I visited I couldn't believe what happened to the neighborhood around the restaurant.It's become a slum area and dangerous to boot. I did notice the pizza wasn't as good as it used to be ,but still good.But that was about 7 years ago.Another neighborhood gone to the dogs.
