The beer specials are great sometimes ($1 bottles, $3 pitchers) but there is no service. The place is huge but there are only a couple waitresses so don't count on getting served. A good place to start out the night but once it gets too busy it's too hard to get drinks, even at the bar.
I can't really describe this place. Other than it is close to work and idea for Happy Hour. Or even a late night hang out or meet up place before you go Clubbing. The ambiance is sort of weird. It is supose to be like a Southern thing, but I don't see it. The best thing they got going is the Drinks! They serve you liquor in these HUGE Irish Beer Mug! Not Beer, but Liqour. So you are getting like 2-3 drinks in one glass. They also exibit a lot of different DJ's playing a variety of music from House, Reggae, Reggaeton, Rock, Hip-hop and even some Indian Punjari and Bhangra. Cool Spot with a mixed crowd.
I stopped by this place on friday afternoon, and it lived up to its name. There were a lot of people drinking and dancing on the bar. The music playing was rock and roll with an occassional top 40 track mixed between. The margarita's were strong and those wings were huge. I enjoyed this spot and will be sure to visit it again when I am back in chicago.
