Overrated and pretentious. People who fall for this place don't really and truly understand good food. The menu sounds good, and the atmosphere is nice, but the food quality leaves something to be desired. In my opinion, there are quite a few restaurants in the Chicago area that are far superior to this place.

AMAZING! I love this restaurant. The food is superb and the wait staff are not only accomadating, but extremely knowledgable. I went for New Year's Eve one year and had a very memorable time.

Everest is absolutely superb, food, ambience, service....my first experience there was fantastic. A must go and I will like to dine there again if I visit Chicago again.

Wonderful ambience, wonderful servivce

The unbelievable service matches their food. The waiters/waitresses are very knowledgeable and helpful without being condescending. Try the degustation menu. Let the chef awe you with his skill and style.

Good Food, Great Experience

Everest has fantastic French cuisine. The staff is very helpful in explaining food and choosing wine for those new to French food. The lighting is soft and romantic but not too dim. The food is expensive, but well worth the money. It's expertly prepared just as you ask for it, and everything is delicious!

Like a mini vacation

The food, wine, service and ambiance are stellar. The magnificant veiw of the city, spacious seating and a beautiful dining room combine to make it one of the most romantic and gracious experiences. The food is fabulous without being trendy.Excellent wines with a knowledgeable staff to help you choose just the right paring. Don't miss it!
