If you're ever in Chicago, eat at this restaurant! It was so freaking good! All the waiters were really nice (and cute;) The food was just perfect! All around, it was one of my best dining experiences ever!
My experience at the Rosebud was the worst resturant expericence ever! I do not reccomend this place to anyone. Not only did the waiter spill a full glass of wine and a bottle of beer on my lap, he also insulted me by making a very degrading and rude comment. The comment was so bad that we were forced to leave. The manager wasn't very understanding.
This is a wonderful, wonderful restaurant with delicious food and a great atmosphere. We always like to eat there when visiting Chicago, and would recommend it to everyone...dining there is a wonderful experience and you will not be sorry.
The food was excellent. It was not a bunch of haute cuisine fancy choices, it was real Chicago Southside Italian at its best. The portions were large, and there was enough to share a taste with your dining companions without worrying about your own gratification. The service was above average, even though the restuarant was very busy. I have heard of Rosebud for many years, but never bothered to go before. What a big mistake!
Rude wait staff and to top it off rude management!!!! Out of food and the waiter didn't even bother to tell you this until after you ordered your drinks. Waiter ran out of condiments for the other tables and took ours right off our table without even asking!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!
